Bacteria

Bacteria is a standard plague. It is the first plague available to the player. It is a very simple plague as it possesses all normal abilities, symptoms and transmissions. It has no special trait, and doesn't have any directly impressive special abilities. It is also the plague required to unlock the Insane Bolt achievement.

Special Ability

The special ability for Bacteria is Bacterial Resilience, which raises its survivability and effectiveness in all climates. Do note that while it does give a noticeable boost in effectiveness, it gives less than even the lowest tiers of Heat Resistance and Cold Resistance abilities give individually. It is also worth noting that Bacterial Resilience does not give any resistance against medicines like Drug Resistance does.
